About
the CEO
Ramesh
K. Shah, known as Bachubhai, is the CEO of Manisha
Industries.
Born on 05.09.1932, he graduated from Bombay University in the year
1955. His father who was Branch Manager of M/s. Batliboi & Co.,
established Modern Machine Tools Co. in 1942. Under his guidance,
since 1948, Shri Ramesh started working for the Tools - Instruments -
Ball Bearings - Grinding Wheels - Cutting Tools industry.Under the
banner of Manisha Industries, Shri Ramesh started manufacturing TIGON
Hardwood, Seasoned, Polished Multigrip & Sledge Hammer Handles,
File Handles from Class 1 - Timber IS 620-1965
since 1972. The company started exporting its products to Middle East
countries and the UK from 1975. The company also started
manufacturing Dentless or Soft Blow (Nylon) Hammers, Copper &
Brass Hammers, Engineer's Plastic Rods & Sheets, Hacksaw Frames
for dealers as well industrial consumers. Shri Ramesh, for the export
of tools and to acquire knowledge of various items in tools, visited
the Tanzania Fair in 1966 and visited Mombasa, Nairobi, Kampala and
Dar-Es-Salaam. He brought small orders for various tool items like
hammers with handles, etc. He visited Colombo, Singapore, Kuala
Lumpur, Bangkok and Manila in 1972 and during this trip also procured
orders for MASCOT Spanners. In 1985, Shri Ramesh visited the
Singapore International Exhibition to know more about Tools, Hammer
Handles and Soft Blow Hammers. The unit MANISHA INDUSTRIES was
started in 1972 where it produced Wooden Hammer Handles, Pressure Die
Cast Handles, Tubular Hacksaw Frame TIGON 555, and TIGON 111 Fix type
with Forged Steel Wing Nuts. Later the company added TIGON Soft Blow
Hammers, establishing the brand name of TIGON - a product where Knobs
or Tips simply wear out but do not chip or crack - basically because
of maintenance of quality. Now, the company manufactures TIGON Tool
Boxes, Bucket Grease Pumps and a few more items.

experience. The
unit MANISHA INDUSTRIES was started in 1972 where it produced Wooden
Hammer Handles, Pressure Die Cast Handle Tubular Hacksaw Frame TIGON
555, and TIGON Fix type with Forged Steel Wing Nut. Later the company
added TIGON Soft Blow Hammers, establishing the brand name of TIGON
– a product where replaceable Knobs or Tips simply wear
out but do not chip or crack – basically because of
maintenance of quality. Now the company has added TIGON Tool Boxes,
Bucket Grease Pumps – hand operated from 5 kg to 20 kg
and pneumatic – 25 kg & 50 kg.
